Skip Bin Hire Information

Mobile skips are a good alternative to regular skip bin hire as they can be manoeuvered into difficult areas and moved if required. They’re transported on the back of a trailer and as they’re a road registered vehicle which can be placed on the road without a council permit. Please note you do need to comply with parking restrictions.

Most mobile skips and can be placed in garages and parking stations as well as under carports. They require a 2.5 metre width and 1.95 metre height access clearance.

Rolled off the back of the truck.  They’re generally longer in length and have lower sides with a rear opening tailgate for bobcat access.  Most trucks will need an access clearance of at least 3 metres.
In most areas you’ll require a permit to place your hire skip anywhere else than on your property that is, on the nature strip or road.  As time limits can apply on permits you must contact your local council for more information before your skip is delivered.
